‘MAYDAY’ takes listeners on a journey through shifting sounds, opening with gritty grime influences before building into a high impact fusion of UKG and bass house. Driven by hard hitting rhythms, infectious energy and a club ready bassline, the track provides the perfect backdrop for Ceebo’s sharp lyricism and commanding delivery, bringing together the raw energy of UK rap with Saint Ludo’s signature production.
The single marks another exciting chapter for Saint Ludo, who has continued to establish herself as one of the UK's most distinctive emerging talents throughout 2026. Her previous single, ‘808’, featuring West London rapper, producer and artist Cap1talA, delivered an explosive fusion of dubstep, grime and UK bass. The track followed her acclaimed release ‘Subliminals’, featuring MC Kasst 8, which received support from DJ Mag, Complex UK, Dance Wax and BBC Radio 1.
Saint Ludo's viral Boiler Room set in India has now surpassed 1.1 million views on YouTube, helping propel her sound to an international audience. Since then, she has continued to take her sets to major stages including Reading & Leeds, All Points East and Boomtown, as well as supporting Sammy Virji on the North American leg of his tour.
Joining her on the release is Lambeth rapper Ceebo, recognised for his sharp lyricism, intricate flows and vivid storytelling. Drawing on influences spanning Kendrick Lamar to J Hus, Ceebo moves effortlessly between traditional hip-hop, UK rap, R&B, Afroswing, drill and underground sounds.
The collaboration marks another step in Saint Ludo's continued evolution, as she builds on her growing international profile and reputation for pushing the boundaries of UK bass. With major festival appearances, international touring and an ever-expanding audience behind her, Saint Ludo is firmly establishing herself as one of the UK's most exciting emerging talents, with ‘MAYDAY’ adding further momentum to her upward trajectory.
