H.LLS and SamRecks combine forces on visualiser video for hot new single “HOUSEPARTY”
H.LLS & SamRecks - HOUSEPARTY (Net Video)
Some songs don’t need to announce themselves. “HOUSEPARTY,” the new single from H.LLS and SamRecks, is one of them. It simply starts and then you are already inside it.
The visualiser, uploaded yesterday from London, is lean and unhurried exactly the right frame for a song that moves on feel rather than force. H.LLS raps like someone who has already won the argument before the room has noticed. Straight from London, just touched down in Paris. The line lands without weight, because he doesn’t need to press it. SamRecks holds the space between verses, the hook circling back to the same quiet ask: want what you got, let me breathe.
There is something in the making of this worth pausing on. Two minutes and twenty-seven seconds. A net video, not a full production. The song is confident enough not to need anything more and that confidence is its own kind of statement.
H.LLS has been building steadily, and this collaboration with SamRecks finds both artists at a point where the work speaks for itself. “HOUSEPARTY” is not trying to be an event. It already is one.
