Skepta - Pandora's Box (Official Video)
Iconic UK Grime and Hip Hop artist Skepta sent shockwaves through the music industry with the release of his sixth studio album “The Fork and Knife”. On The Fork and Knife Skepta stays true to his Grime roots while simultaneously fusing more contemporary influences. Standout tracks include the high-octane track “Innocent Smile” featuring Suggs and Chase & Status and the socially track conscious “Pandora’s Box”. Skepta is not afraid to explore heavy societal issues when he says “MPs lie, they treat us like idiots How you turn it around and blame it on immigrants” on single “Innocent Smile”. The Fork and Knife is a well-balanced album that features a beautiful mixture of different musical genres and tackles a range of subject matter from personal to societal.

Yeah
I got a friend that gets high on his own supply
When I look at him now I don't know the guy
His coke never came in a can
No there's no saving a man
It's no surprise that he's hanging with strangers
On the road at night
Talking to everybody like shit
But if you got any drugs then he's so polite
I’m tryna be like you bro, you know the type
He’s got his eyes wide open
I’m looking through the window to his soul
I can see my guys broken
Hands hurtin’ from the grudges he’s holding
One day he will talk to me I’m hoping
He said social media gives him anxiety
I looked up I see him still scrolling
It's a gift and a curse when your chosen
When you're the man of the city Phil Foden
Is it gambling, clothes or sex
You can’t figure out why you're so obsessed
Everybody got vices, everybody got thoughts that they hope to forget
You said that you want to be successful
You never knew it was gonna be so much stress
Life was easier when you needed less
But don’t look back you might get depressed
Fentanyl, paracetamol, panadol, adderall
Finesse killer I don’t do drugs
Feel like in a past life, I had ‘em all
Trabaye down a rabbit hole
Old demons attack your soul
You got locked in Pandora’s box
Think it’s time you cracked the code
Fentanyl, paracetamol, panadol, adderall
Finesse killer i don’t do drugs
Feel like in a past life, I had ‘em all
Trabaye down a rabbit hole
Old demons attack your soul
You got locked in Pandora’s box
Think it’s time you cracked the code
Remember you never used to care about it
Now you never go anywhere without it
You talk like a tough guy but your a slave to addiction
So who really wears the trousers
Your wifey never used to leave your side
You got weak now you don’t know where your spouse is
I had to slow down on the loud
Some days last year, I was blazing ounces
I can never sit on my high horse and boast
Some people quit, some microdose
Life is a game of blackjack
Tryna see 21, it’s all about the highs and lows
I know the energy I put out, it comes back
Universe reacts and I prepare to attract
And it’s Murphy's law for what I fear the most
How scary is that
Fentanyl, paracetamol, panadol, adderall
Finesse killer I don’t do drugs
Feel like in a past life, I had ‘em all
Trabaye down a rabbit hole
Old demons attack your soul
You got locked in pandoras box
Think it’s time you cracked the code
Fentanyl, paracetamol, panadol, adderall
Finesse killer I don’t do drugs
Feel like in a past life, I had ‘em all
Trabaye down a rabbit hole
Old demons attack your soul
You got locked in Pandora’s box
Think it’s time you cracked the code
